The fact that Gandhi was killed right before he planned to go on a suicide mission is one of the more bizarre stories that I wish I could get into. When we are faced with a life changing decision, we are faced with an unknown number of options.
I can understand why the story of Gandhi’s death needs to be told in some way, but I am not aware of any official canon about it. So it’s fair to say that we will never learn what happened to him. I am, however, very curious to find out why there was a massive explosion in India at the time of his death.

But in the case of Gandhis assassination, I guess he was just too powerful and he got his hands on too many people. You can only kill so many people with one AI. However, this AI can be controlled by another AI. There is no way that this is a coincidence.
