The Ask Apatient community is a site where people share their experience with apathy. We try to give you the tools you need to create a better life. We want to show you ways to turn apathy into action.
Ask Apatient is an app that allows users to communicate with their apathy. The app is free to download, but you can upgrade to a premium version if you have enough friends who are also apathetic.
I love the idea of asking people to share their apathy, since sometimes it feels like a lonely place to be. A few weeks ago, my friend Chris asked my opinion about an article he had read and I said, “Yeah, I’m apathetic too.” As I remember, it was pretty positive, but I definitely wasn’t doing my part to make him more apathetic.

I agree. A lot of the time when I feel like I’m not doing my part to make him more apathetic, I feel like I’m doing a lot of that on my own. It’s nice to have someone else to talk to who understands that feeling. I’m also a lot more active in the forums than I was before. It is nice to have a community where people are willing to talk about the things that make them feel that way.
My friend Chris has been asking me to join him in the forums to get to know the people that are supportive of him. I have been reluctant to do this since I always feel like I have to do it on my own (and I don’t like the idea of feeling like Im doing it on my own). But I have decided to start this thread because I know it will be a great way to get to know more people and get the word out about my friend.
I’ll be trying to make my new friend feel welcome here. So if you have any ideas about how we can improve the forums, feel free to share them. My friend is a very sweet person who will not only be there for me but also for all of the others that I know that will be in this community.
He also works for an internet startup called askapatient.com. He started the company because he believes that there are a lot of people that need a website and a website is the only way that they will be able to know that they are being heard.
AskApatient.com wants to be the first website where people that have hearing and vision problems can reach out to each other. The website will allow people to post questions about their hearing, vision, and/or other health problems that they have. It has already started to get some positive buzz, mainly because the founder and CEO, Alyssa Gass, has a very kind and genuine personality that I love.
